About

The workshop “Publishing in Academic Journals in the Anglo-American Market” provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to the processes, standards, and strategies involved in publishing scholarly articles in leading English-language journals.

Designed for early-career researchers as well as more experienced academics seeking to expand their international presence, the seminar explored the specific expectations of Anglo-American editors and peer reviewers, the criteria for selecting suitable journals, and the importance of positioning one’s research within global academic conversations.

The workshop combined informative presentations with interactive discussions, allowing attendees to critically reflect on their own publishing experiences and goals. Participants gained practical guidance on structuring journal articles, navigating the submission and revision process, responding to reviewer feedback, and avoiding common pitfalls that hinder publication success. The event also featured a Q&A segment, during which the speaker addressed specific questions and provided tailored advice.

By the end of the session, participants had a clearer understanding of how to effectively prepare and present their work to meet the rigorous demands of international academic journals, and how to build a long-term publishing strategy within the Anglo-American academic context.
