About
On April 20th in Berlin the Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe project group of the Federal Agency for Civic Education cordially invited public to the event “Strong Sea. Resistance on the Krym” in the Berlin State Library aimed at changing stereotypes about Ukraine and the peninsula. Katia Mishchenko (who is also this year’s VUIAS scholarship holder) was among co-organizers and a hostess of the evening.
In the first part, there were sharp and difficult conversations with Mustafa Dzhemilyov (moderated by Rory Finnin), Tamila Tasheva and Wilfred Yilge (moderated by Kateryna Stetsevich).
In the second, Anastsiya Levkova talked about her novel “There is land behind Perekop” and read excerpts. The meeting was moderated by Claudia Dathe.
